Our teak furniture is produced from certified teak that is grown for the purpose and not cleared from fragile rainforests. As one of the most durable types of wood, teak contains a lot of oil, which is usually needed to prevent the material from cracking. Since the wood naturally contains a lot, the furniture does not need to be impregnated as often.
However, if you want to keep the color, you need to treat the furniture with a special oil. Make sure that the surface is thoroughly wiped so that dust and dirt do not get stuck under the oil. We recommend that you oil your furniture before use, the first time the underside of the table top should also be impregnated to reduce the risk of cracking, because the side of the table that has been oiled swells slightly. The living material gives variations in both color and grain, which in turn makes each piece of furniture unique. Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately. When the furniture is outside in the summer, it is exposed to both weather and wind, which in turn can cause black mold.
