Traditional double-sided Japanese saw , "Ryoba" with a wooden handle for the best feel. The saw has a 0.5 mm thin blade in SK5 steel made in Japan. The thin blade provides high flexibility and precision, which helps create precise cuts, for example in furniture carpentry.
The blade has two different sharpenings to work effectively both when sawing across and along the grain direction in the wood, so-called "Cross-cut" and "Rip-cut". Serrations for pull movement enable precise sawing with a thin blade and minimal effort.
The teeth on the saw blade are tip hardened/induction hardened for long life and sharpness. The blade is oiled to prevent rusting, don't forget to wipe the blade and oil it after use for best longevity.
