Rust protection / Zinc is used to protect iron and steel surfaces, welding joints, etc. from corrosion.
Finished paint film contains at least 90% zinc, which is electrochemically bonded to iron or steel surfaces with the help of air humidity. The product is self-healing in case of mechanically caused damage due to the zinc's ability to crawl over the exposed surface.
Rust Protection Zinc provides a rust protection comparable to hot-dip galvanizing, but which can be carried out directly on site.

Rust Protection Zinc is available both as an aerosol and as a brush paint.
