The ION Science ARA H2S Gas Detector is a cost-effective personal detector with 24 months of continuous operation. This portable gas detector has just one button for ease of use and alerts workers when health levels exceed set safety levels.
ARA-IR-link allows ARA to communicate with a computer using infrared. ARA PC allows users to download the 30 most recent event logs and configure user settings including:

- Displayed data (live reading or remaining lifetime)
- Calibration interval
- Bump test interval
- Self-test interval
