The BT65 Elite with Lothar Walther barrel (LW) has an aggressively designed buttstock with an ergonomic thumbhole grip and magazine holder in front of the receiver. The piston is otherwise just as adjustable as the standard piston. On the stock are three picatinny rails or rails for mounting accessories.
AIR FORCE PCP - PRE CHARGED PNEUMATIC
Pneumatic air guns of the PCP type are structurally quite similar to carbon-oxygen-powered guns, but usually dimensioned for a higher pressure.
There are mainly two variants: pump guns that are loaded between each shot and reservoir guns (commonly called PCP guns - Pre-Charge Pneumatic) with an air reservoir that holds compressed air for several shots.
Weapons with air tanks are loaded with the help of a special hand-operated pump or from a diving tube or the like. The pressure varies between approx. 70-300bar.
In addition to the design and construction of the weapon's air system, this is affected by:
Tube size: Large tube volume gives more shots
Effect: More effect gives fewer shots - Caliber: Larger caliber gives, in relation to the effect, a more efficient air consumption and more shots per filling compared to a smaller caliber.
- Working pressure – a weapon with a lower -max filling pressure- often produces fewer shots (however, it is easier to pump up a weapon that has a lower maximum pressure)
The demands on the precision: In a PCP weapon, it is common for the output velocity to be slightly lower when you have maximum filling pressure, to then increase a little and drop sharply at the end. Best smoothness, precision is usually obtained during a number of shots in the middle of the pressure range
