LOCTITE® 243 is a universal product with medium strength for thread locking. This thread lock is used for fixing and sealing screws, nuts and studs so that they do not loosen due to vibration. The product works on all metals, including passive materials (eg stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces). Tested resistance to minor contamination by industrial oils, e.g. machine oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.
