Olimpia Splendid Pelér 8 Air Cooler

Why is an air cooler a good option, compared to an AC? One of the advantages of an air cooler is that you get rid of the large, bulky exhaust air hose that a portable AC always has to have. Air coolers do not need a hose but use water to lower the temperature by raising the humidity in the room. When the water in the air cooler evaporates, with the help of the built-in fan, the air mixes with water molecules and this means that the heat is captured by the water molecules, which lowers the indoor temperature.
