The carpenter's axe can be recognized by the straight shaft and the recess in the skull which allows the hand to be held directly over the edge when cutting. Together with the long, thin and straight knife-sharpened edge, we get an ax with just the precision a skilled craftsman requires.
The carpenter's axe is hand forged and manufactured from Swedish ax steel in Hults Bruk according to tradition since 1697. This ax is named after one of Hults Bruk's most experienced blacksmiths from the 20th century, Ernst Stålberg.
Take care and care for your axe, and it will be a faithful friend for many years to come. We are so proud of the quality and craftsmanship of our ax that we give you a lifetime guarantee on the ax head.
