Fiberglass ladder – safety when working with high voltage and aggressive environments
Product description
Fiberglass ladders are the obvious choice when safety and durability are a priority. They are non-conductive, acid and chemical resistant and specially developed for work in high voltage environments such as railways, switchgear and overhead line constructions. Thanks to the unique properties of the material, they are also perfect in corrosive environments such as the chemical industry, food industry and water treatment plants where aluminum ladders cannot be used.
The ladder is made of glass fiber reinforced polyester with an electrical insulation of 13.5 kW/cm and is voltage tested to 30 kV according to EN 61478. This makes it a reliable work tool even under the most demanding conditions.
Ladders longer than 3 meters are equipped with a stable step base that prevents sideways tipping. 2-part extension ladders can also be used as free-standing ladders, which increases flexibility when working.
