Vortex expands the Diamondback HD series with a 15x56. With 15x magnification, you get enough optical performance to replace binoculars in some cases but in a much more compact format. The weight is only 986 grams thanks to a magnesium alloy chassis. Vorex recommends that it be used with a tripod and an adapter for mounting the binoculars on a tripod is included.
